I'm feeling really frustrated by the entire process today, so I've already banged my head against the wall, pounded my fists on the desk, slammed my foot in the car door and screamed really loud primal screams. Any other ideas on ways to reduce stress?

You should exercise! It releases happy endorphins! Way better method of reducing stress since it doesn't only lighten up your emotions, it also benefits your body.

My advice would be stop reading the timelines forget about people after you who are getting approved ,make plan on visiting your fiance(e) if you have the means to do it ,Show your loved one how much u loved by emails phone calls Skype ,find something fun to do with your fiance(e) through the (phone,skype,chat...etc) Try to read books together ,Online games ,puzzles together or just discuss ideas, issues that you think your partner might be interested in , believe God is great and when the time is your time for your NA02 No one can delay it ,Or else you ll be living every second in hell burning your nerves and your time ,Hope this help I was pissed off onece myself ; I m hitting the 5 month point and the whole process is challenging

Commit to doing yoga. It saved me. It became like religion for me! it allows you to release so much pain like you never imagined you even had. I used to be a "yoga is for hippies!" type, but I was desperate to do SOMETHING other than self destructive things. Really, it really is amazing! It even relieved my headaches when nothing else did! Buy a good mat! :) try and relax! there's nothing you can do right now. OTher things may include focusing on developing the relationships with the people around you because your life is about to change big time and it may not be as easy to do once that happens. Write letters, read a book, exercise, take a class..... good luck to you. Hope you find relief soon. I feel for you!

Everyone in this waiting game is feeling your pain , I found this definition on Wikipedia and glad to inform you my friend; what are you passing by now is a Stamina endurance hahahah "joke" if you not believe me here is the definition:

"Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast"

I've done the screaming part...and I have to admit, damn it feels good to get it out although it sounds like God knows whattttttt.....lol, haha. The only problem is that one time I decided to do it in my house and ALL my windows were open :blush::blush::rofl: I was too pissed off to even realize it when I did it, but, I didn't care. God only knows what my neighbors think :blink: The screaming works and it's a lot less painful than banging your head against a wall. Also, exercising is a great stress reliever as well and you don't lose your voice

I absolutely need some relife here. I am so overwelmed frustrated with K1 process to the point that I have lost sleep over it. I certianly need my VJ friends' guidance and support on how to handle this. Man, it takes so much affords.

going on a murderous rampage would probably help to relieve the stress... but it might not look too good at the interview

Yes, agreed. I am doing yoga in many years by now, meditation, and relaxation. It really helps me out especially when I have very hard burden at my work.

My husband and I will be okay somedays, but then the stress of waiting for everything overloads and we just start crying, then it turns into laughter. We might be going insane but we still love each other.

You think "waiting" is bad at this stage.. wait until she arrives.. that's when the stress really sets in..

For me, waiting for the visa was stressful, but once My "now wife" arrived and I watched her adjust to the US culture, and saw her crying and crying from home sickness, that's where real stress lies..

Not everyone is the same, but, it seems to me waiting for the visa, is only the beginning...

Best wishes for everyone..

In case of an emergency break glass. Get a bucket and some old jelly jars etc.. and crash them into the bucket. Nothing like totally destroying something to get rid of your frustration and it wont cost anything and the sound of crashing glass is awesome.I'm jus saying try it you will see.

For me, I organize and prepare.

I review data. I cross check rules and regulations and timelines. I do my best to become an expert in this process and be prepared for all the little things that can go wrong. And trust me lots of little things will go wrong. Expect them to. But control what you can and accept the rest.

Accept that this is a frustrating and difficult process and might be a stressor on your relationship.

You should have seen the I-134 and Evidence of Relationship packets I prepared. I watched the time lines and saw when I was in my window for an NOA2. I shipped things to my fiancée so that she was ready to walk into her interview with neatly tabbed and ordered binders of the I-125f (she does not need, but should have a nice copy), the I-134 and supporting documents, and a packet of evidence of a relationship that was comprehensive, yet not burdensome: 8 tactical photos, two up to a page with captions; a record of all phone calls (about 100 over the last six months); declarations of intent to marry; etc,; extra copies of the NOA1 and NOA2.

Study and prepare. That is the best I can offer.

Best of luck.

Your suggestions is great! I follow the same proces.
