Salaam, y'all.

The thread Sudden CHANGE!!! What do I do!?; Controlling issues is a great example of why I no longer bother to offer advice when someone asks for it. As in this case, the OP usually closes the thread, and leaves angry and resentful, stating that they really didn't ask for advice about their relationship after all.

I'm sure some of you are compassionate souls who only want to help, but take it from an old-timer, the bearer of bad news on the MENA board is often an unwelcome intruder to the OP despite their good intentions.

My two cents . . .

I'm beginning to think I'm the naive one, b/c with almost every scenario like that, I think it's a troll who's stringing people along to get everyone "in a tizzy". I can't believe anyone wants to go through such difficulty & abuse - so it seems like I'm the naive one b/c sadly, it seems like that thread and others similar are real. Bluh! :(

Happy November everyone....we are still having pretty nice weather in northern Calif, still in the high 70's in the daytime. We are getting ready to file Ahmed's 2 year Removal of Conditions in January....I've been keeping a file with our proof (pics, joint ownership and tax docs, etc).

I agree with msheesha about that crazy thread and maybe the OP being a troll.....I felt that early on and the OP made it increasingly harder to give her the benefit of the doubt. She wanted opinions and info, but at the same time was so elusive about her fiance's specific reactions and conversations about her issues with him. I wonder if he really exists

have a great month :star:

Happy November to All and Happy Eid to those celebrating!!!

Finally we got out interview date for December 1, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weather here in Alexandria is beautiful...I think Winter is very near, it's quite cool at night and even chilly some throughout the day...This has always been my absolute favorite time of year in the States what with the weather, the hustle and bustle of the upcoming holidays and I have to admit I was beginning to feel a little homesick...so the change in the air and seeing everyone celebrating Eid has helped to lift that a little...still hoping to make it back home for Christmas but now that we have our interview, I feel I've already gotten an early present and would be fine staying a few more months if needed

Hope everyone is doing well and have a great weekend!
