I described our meeting in the box that was provided by typing it in. I covered our meeting completely in 4 lines. They don't want a love story there. Your divorce decree must be a certified copy signed by the judge and original signatures.

I left a few fields blank on one of the forms but I don't think I will get an RFE for it. My best advice is to look at the forms and compare them with the example forms on-line line by line. I sent a complete package, just like in your list or more... but my only error was not comparing the example forms to what I sent. Again, the fields were not really important I don't think because I left the Alien fiancee number out.. because anybody cuold tell since she has not been here yet, she doesn't have one but I should have put N/A.

By the way, I hand wrote nothing. I filled it out with Adobe and typed it right in and printed it. Much neater and probably easier on them.

The supplement is the letter of the evolution of the relationship, explaining our relationship in more detail hoping they will understand we have a genuine relationship.

The divorce decree is called a exemplified copy in Florida. Look it up on google. What I got was the complete copy but most importantly the first page has the judges signature and the court seal on it. Just make sure it was signed by a judge and has the seal. Refer to it as an exemplified copy and they should know what you are talking about.

Also, go to the regional forum on China and post and read in there. The Embassy that I deal with will be different from the standards you deal with in China.

That's not necessary. For the petitioner to prove US citizenship, they can use their birth certificate (which is what the OP is providing, according to their list) or their passport pages. One or the other. Don't need both.

Dale this is incorrect, the divorce papers can be signed by the clerk of court mine is stamped with a green seal and signed by the lady who stamped it and they are considered certified copies. Just FYI our visa was approved and also the g-325A should be signed with original signatures if im not mistaken.

If the petitioner is not a US citizen from birth thats what shows citizenship. and the passport pages also shows that the petitioner has indeed traveled in the pass 2 years to visit the beneficiary. Serves 2 purposes if not one.

Looks good here but I went over mine so many times I lost count and always found some small detail missing or wrong I have no idea if they made a difference by correcting them but ours went through the first time. YMMV

I only sent a copy of the divorce decree...I did NOT receive an RFE. I also gave a brief summary of our relationship and our most recent meetings....so I used a supplemental page to answer question 18, as well.

It looks like you have everything you need for your packet.

Best wishes to you!! :)
