today i went to my interview, and the officer ask me so many question which has nothing to do with k1

she keep asking me that why i dont back to china

the most funny question is she ask me : why you go to usa!

oh my god, whats that mean? i apply k1 visa, and the she ask me that question?

that was an old lady, nearly 60, all she keep try to ask is why i dont back to china

and when i try to explain, she said: i dont wanna listen to it!

what's that attitude?

then she said i dont believe your relationship is real, i think is for immigration

then she said our case was suspended, give me a paper which to explain ur case got suspended bcoz u didnt presented some required documents!

i had everything which ask me to bring on the list,

everyone knows what to do now?

we already send more picture, and i wrote a long letter

bcoz of im chinese thats why she did that or what?

we already call the departmenet of usa, and ask this, and they dont know why it happened

please help us, i cant stay this far from him anylonger

K-1 is always challenging for it is hard to prove that you are going to get married and in a bonafide relationship and not just for immigration purposes. I understand your pain and also felt the same towards the US Embassy in Uganda when I spoke with the consular work working there. It is all routine and their goal is to discredit you and find reasons not to grant a visa. Also, they will never tell you everything to bring so you have to come over prepared for the unknown. The CO even asked my wife, how she knew to bring so much info?

VJ will help you detrmine how to go about it and I advise reading as much as possible to avoid this again. Your next option might be to get married. Good luck and don't give up cause that's what they want you to do...

I'm very sorry for the outcome of your interview.

Did the paper have any information about the documents they are looking for?

Have you ever been to the US? and if you did, did you overstay?

Did your fiance submit an Evolution of Relationship letter? This is one of those things that Guangzhou seems to always want. What other evidence of bona fide relationship did you send? Phone logs? Chat Messages? Emails? Letters? Did you submit pictures of the two of you together?

Did you get a blue slip after your interview?

You had to submit something to prove you had met in the past 2 years or you would have never gotten past the USCIS stage.

Oh dear, could it possibly have been an immigration officer having a bad day?? You must have submitted proof that you two are in a relationship because it's required to be sent in with the application. I am here on my tourist visa and it was my 3rd visit here before my boyfriend proposed. We sent in all the required paperwork and things seem to be running smoothly up till now. It seemed you answered the questions but what did you take with you exactly?

These people will ALWAYS assume that the marriage is for immigration ( fraud)purposes. It is up to you to PROVE they are wrong. Sometimes all the papers in the world mean nothing.

When my wife went to Warsaw, alone, for her interview the woman said to her " do you know your fiancée is still living with his ex-wife in her home..we have proof". Wow. My wife looked her right in the face and said " you are wrong. He lives alone at this address. I do not believe you. You cannot show me proof because you do not have any". And she was very confident in her answer. That was enough for the woman. She got her visa.

One of the problems with these interviews is that the fiancée is intimidated. And nervous. It can be difficult. Most USC who accompany their fiancée ( usually they must wait outside) will not take no for an answer if there is a problem and maybe even argue a bit because it is THEIR government and they have the right to question the CO's.

Sorry you had to go through all this.
