I don't think having too much supporting evidence is a bad thing. Prevention is better than cure. It is best to have all of your evidence than to have to return for a second interview. Good luck!

I'm actually having to condense my evidence file just to make it light enough to carry. Otherwise, I would have more.

My fiance's folder of evidence, etc. weighed as much as our cat.

Yes, it was overboard but boy, we were super prepared.

Regardless of what you bring and how much, make sure you can easily find everything you are looking for

LOL, going on wieght .. my evidence book was 12 pounds. They wieghed it at the airport to see if it could be "carry on".

Never too much! It is always better to have it and be prepared than not have it and need it. I know my wife told me the US Embassy wanted less evidence than PRISM did for the CFO, but she took the same evidence to both places and everything went through with flying colors.

Too much is not always better. I would definately bring everything with me they could possibly ask for. But they will need to ask. As for the forms I only supply what is required. The more info they have the more ammunition to ask questions. I'd rather just have a normal interview and standard questions. Jim.

Do what makes you feel comfortable. it's no problem having too much because they will only ask you to hand over the very basics at the time of the interview (s) . They will never find out if you had too much because if they ask for additional info or proof of a topic, if you show them a stack of 200 photos they will just pick a few to look at. Bring more than you think the minimum is, but if your relationshop is legit you will have ZERO problems. Its anxiety producing and lengthy waiting but really they are just there to spot the fraudulent visa applications. Just My opinion having just gone through it.

Yes, sure. We brought way too much and had to bring it back with us with an approved visa. If you expect me to tell you which evidence NOT to bring, I would not be able to answer that.

Take all you have and take back what they don't need. I still have it and we will have a bonfire when Alla and the boys are citizens.

There is never too much information in Manila...the Phils are a high fraud rate immigration country so you should take as much as possible, it is best to inundate them with so much supporting evidence they have no choice but to see it your way.

There is never to much but know where everything is in your folders and bring a copy of all the forms.

Follow the guides on VJ and the ones that you got from the Consulate and you do just fine.

Remember quality as well as quantity.

Our interview is Friday. I have an inch (I measured it) of photocopies that I'm taking for the IO while my wife carries the originals separately. She also has a scrapbook and a photo album that she built for the interview, as well as captioned copies of the pictures for the IO's use.

For some reason, IOs love to look at our photo albums.
