Embassy Review : The "walk thru has been done by many so I will just put the questions my fiance was asked. They were all reasonable questions and Augie had an overall good experience. First interview was with a filipina CO. She asked how long the annulment took and how much it cost. ( our answer made her mad about lawyers, judges and the bad system there, good to know she is on our side! ) Then she asked what date the annulment was final. ( we filed k1 very soon after annulment, it was not problem) She asked Augie how many times she is annulled and when did we meet? How and where? When did we first meet in person? when was my first visit? when was the last visit , how many times did he visit? does he have kids? what is their name and age? then she asked about the father of my stepson. She ask where is his father? Augie answered he is working abroad as a seaman.
Does he pay support? (no).
you have communication?
(no) ... There was no problem with this, some have said we would have a problem with no letter from father but as I have said parental rights is a US law and does not apply to a Philippine citizen. The next CO was an american girl. She asked Augie what is my name and age. Then she looked at our papers. She read and said I see you are annulled? ( yes) You have sole custody? ( yes) She read the papers again. She asked about my job. Augie explained I work for my own company. Then she asked what does this company do? Augie explained that too. She asked do I have kids? My step son answered this one lol Yes ! a boy and a girl. The Co smiled and said congratulations your approved.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
