just wondering im getting anxious :wacko:

Sadly right now NVC is backed up and the Embassy in Ankara is too. The appointments at this moment are already into NOvember...even dates being scheduled in December....AMERI-TURKS are currently in a backup. Our date is October 27th 2011 (they got our petition at the embassy on July 20th i believe) and the next day October 28th is 1 year since we sent the petition for our K1. Its nuts!!!! :crying: :crying:

So be prepared and have all your packet 3 ready to go ..so as soon as your file leaves the NVC and you get your number..get that packet 3 to your fiance to send out....because we were hoping for a august september interview we were pushed into end of october. So prepare yourself for a end of december , january interview date.....its nuts i know....We are living it right now! :( :( :( :( :(

Some points in the post are not applicable to the OP. I read the OP's timeline and they are already married and in the process for a CR-1 visa. Once their file is received by the NVC, the OP will have to submit documentation to the NVC (Affidavit of Support and IV packages). Once their case is complete at the NVC, the NVC will forward the file AND the NVC will schedule the interview based on what the Embassy has available.

Either way she has to get her IV packet ready and send it in......either way she has to wait for the next available interview appointment. Point is get all your papers ready now so you can send them in ASAP due to the big future dating interview list......
