Email the DS-3032 as soon as you can, they will send you a response in 3 days or so, you can email them before the AOS Bill is paid. You have to wait for the AOS Bill, so you can get the Invoice ID Number (IIN) to pay the bill online. At this point there are two parallel tracks at NVC that can be followed on to submit the I-864 and the other for the DS-230.

The I-864 and DS-230 can be downloaded and prepared in advance.

This DS-3032 and I-864 and DS-230 forms are for K3/CR-1 visas right? don't remember reading about these in any K1 related guides. So my basic question is, as a K1 visa applicant, i don't have to deal with any of these forms?

Last July, My fiance was coming to USA on a B2 visa but it was denied. He tells me that the reason was for a whole in one of my paystubs. Now this year we had applied for a K1 petition and waiting. If Im not mistaken, on the I-134 form it asks if we ever tried to apply for any other visa. Is this where i but that info down or dont bother cos it was denied? It has been bothering me for months and IM not sure what to do. Can you help me with this one. It will be some time yet before they even look at our petition.

ITS THAT TRUE ??!!!???

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

I too am stuck waiting for the NVC to receive notice from the CSC that my K-1 petition was approved 14 days ago. When I called USCIS, they insistedthat they send the approval notice directly to the embassy in Manila, and bypass NVC. Can this be true?

She needs to sign it and that needs to be in real ink, not photocopy/printer ink. Other than that it doesn't matter who types or writes in the details.

Great. I'm glad I caught this while her sister was there. I now have two filled out and signed and two blanks signed. I'm sure I have the right one to move forward with.

Thanks!
