I will like to thank you all for coming along on this journey with me. My oath was at 12:00pm today in Milwaukee. Got into the buildiing around 11:35 with my family and cleared security. We were told to go to the 3rd floor. Huge beautiful building by the way. The line had began to form so I promptly joined. At 12:00 they anounced for us to make sure the back of the notice with the YES NO questions have been answered. I checked in and surrendered my Green Card and took a seat. The room filled out prety quickly. There were 74 people from 21 different countries. The judge gave a little background on immigration and had us take the oath of allegiance around 1:20pm and said congratulations and welcome to your new country. Then a lady spoke about voting and the need to get an ID for major elections starting January next year. We were asked to "approach the bench" and receive our certificates on the way out. Families and friends were allowed to take pictures and video the whole time. Mexico was the country with the most applicants with 17. My 3 year old kept shouting go daddy go the whole time :rofl: . We were out of there by 2pm and went straight to the post office and applied for a passport.

10/17/2011 - Certificate of Naturalization in the mail -- OFFICIALLY DONE!
