I saw the other day where they knocked off Brazil, but I didn't think they would get by France. Go USA!!!

The match against Brazil was great. Nice to see this great team make it to the finals!

I would have hoped for a Germany - USA final but the German ladies were really weak when playing Japan. Very disappointing.

Good deal France cheated Ireland out of a slot last year. With a hand goal not called big stink the REF even admitted getting in wrong.

That should be interesting. Both teams should have lots of confidence seeing that Japan beat Germany and the US beat Brazil. Neither was expected to win and such upset usually boosts morale. Hope I get to watch it.

And they did with only 10 people on the field for the last 59 minutes, an amazing story. Something about cheering for the underdog and a good story that gets my attention. I also hope that I get a chance to see it.

USA has an all time record of 22-0-3 against Japan. They have won all three times they played against Japan so far this year. :thumbs:

Yes, but Japan has trumped Germany which absolutely nobody expected. That was certainly the biggest upset this year. The Japanese ladies are full of confidence following that match. As are, of course, the US ladies following their amazing win against Brazil - what a match. The final will be a fast and furious match which I am looking very forward to. My take is that the US will win this. If I'd have to put a final score on it, I'd say 2:0 for the US.
