Well I am so happy and excited! I leave the Philippines today to come to America to be with my future husband! This k-1 experience was a long long process. Everyone keep your heads up, the day really does come!! I will be seeing everyone on the Adjustment of Status forum real soon!!

Congradulations.. This is wild. The whole time I was talking to Dex I thought is was the Petitioner/Male. I never looked at the timeline. :bonk: .

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

Congrats, but you had a very short wait! A long wait is what I had! Double yours and that's how long mine took~! I know some people whose took years! Mine was 18 months!

I am here now!! I am so happy to be here! Thank you all, i had a long flight but not to bad. I sleep most of the way. Me and my fiance are going to have a boxing match over this air conditioner, but he is bigger than me! lol! But i am going to make him buy me a heating blanket! :rofl: He likes the cold, but i need to explain to him that i am from the Philippines! Lol! I think he may forgot that! But i love him so much anyway, being cold i get to snuggle up to him!! K-1 process complete! Thank the Lord God!
