Oh really? I thought it was only some parts of the month.

On another note Saylin, you make that spreadsheet about the NVC, right? You want me to send you my info or do you want to grab it off my signature? Thanks!

Yup, they schedule all month long. Don't listen to the operators when they say they only schedule the second week of each month for the following month. It's a complete LIE. If you look at my own signature, you'll see I was scheduled during the FOURTH week.

And whoops, you were on the spreadsheet, but I haven't updated you. All done :)

You mean 2 weeks from case complete to interview date being scheduled? That's very common. It's uncommon to find out your interview date the very next day or two. It's usually between a week or two instead.

Remember, your file is put into a queue to get an interview date scheduled when your case is complete. So you'll only get an interview date once everyone in front of your case has been assigned one.

I don't know anything about Algeria and the length of time it takes from case complete to interview date, but it can still be possible. I'd suggest looking at other people's timelines from Algeria and figure out the average time from case complete to interview date. That's what I did with Canada while I was waiting :)

The NVC guy just told me the 2nd week of the month only for scheduling. When I reminded him this was the second week he just kind of stuttered.

Why do they do stuff like this?

N-400 CITIZENSHIP TIMELINE

10/20/14...N-400 mailed to Phoenix
--/--/14.. N-400 packet received
--/--/14... Check cashed
--/--/14... NOA1 received (Priority Date 10/10/14)
---/---/14... Biometrics Letter received (Bio set for --/--/14)
---/---/14... Early walk-in for Biometrics (Tampa FL)
---/---/14... In line for interview
---/---/14... Interview completed
---/---/14... Oath letter received
---/---/14... Oath Ceremony!

Yeah, it's a bunch of poop. I think they say that line just to prevent people from calling each day. That's the only thing I can come up for them reading a script.

Just keep calling back every day :)
