This is a sample of the invitation card for our wedding... I think it is so romantic :luv:

Edited by Melo

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

I like it too! The pic did not show very well on my screen (old monitor! ugh), but it looks like the invitation is embossed... Anyways, I like it. Very lovely!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Thanks all of you... Dean I can tell you that the Gypsy said "romantic? Who needs romantic?" but I just loved the colours... the card is made of self-embossed hand-made paper... inside the invitation will be printed on pink tissue... all I need now is for the bloody petition to appear... have been feeling miserable today... got a migraine from the stress of it... but one can only hope that it appears soon... and we can get married and be together (L)

Very pretty! Just remember that whatever you decide to put on the invitation, you have to duplicate exactly for each one... a lady at our church asked me to do her invitations and she only needed twenty, but it took me a week to make them because she chose a fairly complicated design - if I EVER do anything like this again it will NOT include a ribbon bow! I'm not very good at bows and I had to tie each one about four times to get it right...
