We have contacted 2 senators and a congress rep...and noone has gotten back to us..as a matter of fact one senator office LOST our paper work!! The Congress rep has not gotten back to us at all and she was certain she would be able to find out information for us within two weeks..guess what is been over two weeks! Anyway just wanted to get that off my chest. Just want them to approve ours already!!!!

For us who have waited till the bursting point, I can understand all of your frustration ( for lack of a better word ) . Our time will come, I am sure of this. So in the meantime, all we can do is pray and not give up what little hope remains.

God Bless us all ! (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Kinda reminds me of Burgess Meredith from Grumpier Old Men. Where he said "I think God forgot about me" or in this case CSC forgot you.

My prayers go out to you and any old Marchers and even the April petitioneers.

Hang in there it can't be long.

Hang in there. Since our petition left CSC on August 18,we had no idea when we would be receiving our next e-mail or letter. NVC will not update their auto response line as I had called this number many times since the 18th. Calls made to NVC personnel was no help because they answered with "don't call unless four weeks have passed." On September 12th I received in the mail a letter from NVC, with our case number, dated 9/5/06 and post dated 9/7/06, that our petition would be send to the embassy within a week from 9/5/06. Wanting to get some kind of an idea about delivery date to the embassy I called NVC again and entered my case number on the auto prompt only to receive the auto voice telling me that they had no record of the case. I again called NVC, this time speaking to a live body. The woman who answered was very pleasant and stated that our petition was sent off to the embassy on September 1, 2006. So as you can see the documenting of these petitions when it applies to dates is not very accurate. Bottom line is that the waiting time can be very stressful. We started our filing at the end of April.
