I have read out the following instruction that how to proceed I-130

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse

I am confused in following steps

3) Email DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) by the beneficiary to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov making the U.S petitioner as the agent (Email format: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form)

Question: We don't want any agent still we need DS-3032 ?

4) Log in to NVC online payment system at https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx to see AOS and IV fee are generated

What is AOS ?

5) Pay Affidavit of Support (AOS - I-864) review fee $88 and Immigrant Visa (DS-230) fee $404, if generated. Payment status will be 'IN PROCESS' after the payment. In 1 or 2 days, the status will be 'PAID'

Questions:

  • My wife has already sent DS-230 along I-130 in the beginning
  • Do we need to file Affidavit of support online ?
  • I have received email from USCIS confirming our I-130 is approved but NOA2 didn't received yet will they guide us in NOA2 that what to do to file Affidavit of support ? ?

7) Express mail AOS packet and IV packet to NVC

What is that ?

Please ask your wife to review all of that guide, soonish, get her input.

SHE needs to call NVC.

But hey - ask Mustafa, soonish, on what you should do - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/user/79557-mustafa1232/

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

You HAVE to select an agent. Most VJ members select the petitioner as the agent.

4) Log in to NVC online payment system at https://ceac.state.g...ice/signon.aspx to see AOS and IV fee are generated

What is AOS ?

AOS is Affidavit of Support, I-864 form.

5) Pay Affidavit of Support (AOS - I-864) review fee $88 and Immigrant Visa (DS-230) fee $404, if generated. Payment status will be 'IN PROCESS' after the payment. In 1 or 2 days, the status will be 'PAID'

-Your wife should not have sent the DS-230 with the I-130. The DS-230 gets sent during the NVC process after your I-130 is approved.

-You cannot file the AOS online as there is no option of an online form. You must print out the form, complete it and sign it.

-You should get the NOA2 in the mail. Call up NVC and see if a case number has been assigned. Give your email addresses over and within a few days of a case number being assigned, NVC will email you an information package.

7) Express mail AOS packet and IV packet to NVC

What is that ?

It's a type of mail you can choose. You can choose the most basic, slowest type that will take a few days to get to NVC. Express mail is more expensive, but will get to NVC faster.

I included an answer for all questions in bold above.

I highly suggest you re-read all the guides as all your questions could have been answered within the guides. Here's two more guides you should read:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_bring_your_foreign_spouse_to_live_in_the_US

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

I would suggest re-reading these guides multiple times until you understand this easy process.

STOP trying to do this yourself, you simply cannot understand it. Do not be ashamed, go get an attorney spend a couple of hundred bucks and have them finish this ...

The OP came here to get an understanding (I would think so anyway). Hiring an attorney would cost more than "a couple of hundred bucks" and that's not guarantee that things would be done correctly. I have seen many posts from people here on VJ stating they have paid thousands of dollars to an attorney and the attorney screwed things up causing delays.

OP: Saylin gave you the answers you needed to your questions and Darnell gave you good suggestions.
