My I-130 is approved but i called USCIS and i come to know the following.

I talked to USCIS today and Now I understand what we should of done, When we filed I130 we should of filed 129F with it, so when the petition is approve you can still immigrate on the 129f for 90 days, and within that time file I-485 adjustment of status to stay here.( in other words ),Instead of waiting for a visa number from the embassy/consular that has no processing time frame on when your name/number will become available, the 129f will allow you immigrate here until a visa number becomes available ,so expect to wait 2 months to 3 years.

You do not file 129 with 130. My lawyer did my petition and only 130 was sent.

I-130 can be filed without I-129f but what i found during conversation with USCIS agent that it may need waiting and more time if you don't file I-129f

USCIS are not called the miss-information line for nothing. They were wrong. If you are refering to the K3 process, it is out dated and usually the NVC closes the K3 process anyway. Even if not, it is no faster (but considerably more expensive) than the CR-1.

Please give us the name and ID number of the USCIS employee - they are giving you inaccurate data .

It was accurate 4 years ago, but not now.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

some 'problem' with your posit.

1. uscitizens who file the petition find that visa number is immediately available, is assigned almost same day that receipt notice is sent out.

2. visa number availability-shortage-taking 3 years - is a problem from 2002 to 2007, is no longer a problem

3. if petitioner is not us citizen, not eligible to file any I-129F for K-3.

your wife already filed the I-130 petition, and it was approved.

Now is time to file for an immigrant visa, there's paperwork intake at NVC. Now. Nowish.

Please stop trying to file the I-130, you could never file it, and the I-130 filed on yer behalf has been approved already.

Your wife needs to start NVC Processing at NVC, so that YOU can apply for an immigrant visa.

What's the problem?

Hi - can you show your wife the:

1. NVC Flowchart from the Guides

2. LingChe's NVC Shortcuts from the Wiki

3. EZGuideSpouse from the Wiki ?

Just show her those things, please?

Alternatively, you can (as I did) review all of your prior posts here on VJ, review all of the prior posts from people who wished to help you.
