Check out this awesomeness! I think Joyce is going to faint!

My brain isn't functioning terribly well these days, and I wasn't sure if flippers was the word I was looking for, so I did an image search for flippers...apparently these glittery studz are Die Flippers from Germany! I'm embarrassed to say that I'd never heard of them. I'm sure Joyce has. In fact, she has probably toured with them.

DIE FLIPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joyce would definitely appreciate their song "Moskau im Regen."

So, anyone have plans to soak in a hot tub this Fourth of July weekend? Or do anything else of interest?

A sort of amusing anecdote: Last year sometime, the husband ended up sharing the complex's hot tub not with a hooker, but with a middle-aged guy who worked for the Arizona Lottery. Apparently someone stole a 6-foot Windfall Willie, the AZ Lottery mascot, out of his truck. Jon burst out laughing (I mean, c'mon), and the guy gave him a look like, "What are you laughing at? It's not funny, you a$$hole."

I think ours is broken! Just won't turn on properly at all.

Looks set to be sunny, though, so will definitely be in the pool. :)

Also, the cats arrived and are beginning to settle in! They're eating and drinking with us in the room, now.

Nothing much interesting going on, except catching up on sleep. Alex keeps getting up in the middle of the night to check on the kitties, and wakes me.

What?! This needs to be addressed immediately!

Glad the kitty-cats are settling in.

Summer hasn't yet arrived here, so no hot-tubbing, swimming, or anything that doesn't involve a sweater here.

Hot-tubbing is great when it's cold out. It's no fun when you step out of it, but it does remind you you're alive!
