Yay they updated the processing times for VSC!

Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: December 31, 2011

I-751 Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence Removal of lawful permanent resident conditions (spouses of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents May 23, 2011

Hopefully by now they are working on June!?

You would think us July filers should be hearing something in the next 4-6 weeks then!

No news on my application, but at least I can confirm that I was able to travel abroad easily. Got back yesterday from a nice trip to Japan with my wife. Only brought the expired GC and the 1 year extension (didnt get the stamp in passport), and was able to smoothly go through immigration.

That is good to hear Pimster. We're traveling to Montreal the 2nd week of March and I am getting a bit nervous! I hope we have no issues going into Canada!

You never know with immigration officers, but it should be fine! only small issue I had was when checking in for my flight in Tokyo. when I was asked to scan my GC, it obviously read it as expired. so check in took a little longer as I had to show all my GC, plus 1 year extension, and passport to a desk attendant. But it went quite quickly.

enjoy Montreal!

We're STILL waiting on the actual green card. Wonder why our letter said 60 days and others are told 30 days.

I wouldn't worry too much about the 60/30 day notification. Your GC should be arriving soon. As long as your worries are over, let them send it in a year. :) Look at us. Still waiting for a decision, RFE or Interview.

It only worries me because everyone else has been getting their GC's within a week or so from the date of their letters. Only exception was someone who waited 3 weeks but that was due to address issues. Our letter was dated the 6th so it's been over 2 weeks.

Dude, you should be happy and thanking God you have been approved. Many people who filed before you have still not heard anything. No offense, but You should be wishing others luck instead of whinning about not receiving your card just 2 weeks after it has been approved.

So I went on line to the USCIS to check my status.. it lists my form number as CR189? And then says removal of conditions... does that sound normal? I thought the form was 751? lol

Anyways it says Vermont average is about 7.4 months...so I'm calculating that puts me at mid March to start hearing something. But then again, it may not be an approval lol... it could just mean that they finally touched me and I could get an interview... which I don't care...anything is better than an RFE... I hope they are happy with what we sent... any word at this point would be good.

Any Vermont approvals yet?

I think CR189 is another name for I-751. It says the same thing on my account for USCIS....although mine only says "initial review".

Dude, can you see my picture or read my name? Not a dude!

No one who filed before me that is going through California failed to receive their card more than a two weeks after getting their confirmation letter! Last time I checked this is a public forum and this thread is specifically targeted to people who filed ROC in the month of July 2011, so since I fit in that category I shall continue to say what I feel is appropriate. Don't like it?? Don't read it!
