Cold feet

Okay, I need to back off. The question was supposed to be:

Frustration goes "hand in hand" with "cold feet" ? or are they unrelated?

:reading: - enufsaid

 ...Sorry Junior...the question is not about frustration...the question is about fear...you said so yourself... :secret:

In order to jog your memory, the following are some excerpts from when you were trolling as devastedme:

...I know I should not be posting this personal information about my relationship with my fiancee but I am getting a bit worried...

...I don't like when she calls me cheap. I don't know why. I feel she does not appreciate anything. Not only my heart but material things also...

...I think I am the one trying to offer her things to make her happy. It is as if I am scared not to see her happy...

...I am just afraid that she will not be happy with me and I feel like offering her things to keep her happy...

...I think I am the one who screwed up by starting to treat her the way I did...

...I have been saving and things like that. So the little I have for raining day, I have been spending it on her...

...I really can not afford this any more...

Nah, I am saying if you love someone and give 100%, not expecting anything in return but grateful when something is given back, that is what helps a relationship, compromise etc succeed.

I agree with your statement. Specially when an older man has a young lady as his fiancee or wife.

A young girl will always be a young girl at heart even if she wants to deny it.! crimson tide is just a movie don't believe in it just deal with it.

Forgiveness is an art that not many possess.

I am hardheaded when people tell me "enough is enough", I always think of two objects. I think they want to tell me that two equally objects are the same. To that saying I reply, of course and an apple is an apple so what?

Now if someone tells me Enough? I completely understand that I need to stop.

Yes, maybe for you enough is sufficient, but 'enough is enough' is for when the other person doesn't accept just 'enough'. It means enough equals enough. It is adding emphasis. It is telling the other person, 'when I say enough, I mean it this time.' I think it is more about when you let someone get away with things, and later you can't put up with it anymore.

I'm afraid so...

...Junior has likely whined to the mods by now even though he's the one who shot himself in the foot...(as usual). :bonk:

However...it's been fun!
