Hi, All,

Just wanted to share my excitement today after coming back last night from seeing my Fiance and had check my e-mail adn there was my approval after 25days. I wanted to tell the folk who have not received there approval to hang in there and keep faith. Also , does anyone know what is my next step? What info should I start gathering. Any help would be appreciated......

10/26/06 - Received Packet 4(Will call 11/6 to Schedule Appt - as i was told Fiance has to be on list. List provided every month by embassy, without being on there cannot make appt.. )

11/6/06 - Interview given 11/9

11/9/06 - INTERVIEW WENT GREAT: WE WERE APPROVED!!!!! Now waiting to receive Visa at home

11/13/06 - Fiancee was called to go back 11/15 for Fingerprints again! Fustration......

11/15/06 - Fiancee got fingerprinter again as they said the first ones were no good..Frsutrated.... Now they said if they will check and see if it is ok and if all check out she will receive Visa in 1 Week

11/21/06 - FINALLY VISA came. so ecxcited......

11/24/06 - Finacee Comes to NY. Start of a new life together.....

12/15/06 - Get Married. Happily married.......

1/05/07 - Sent for AOS.......

1/29/07 - Got I797 - Notice of Action for I485/I765......

4/15/07 - My wife got her Work Permit for 1 Year

Congratulations! The best thing to do to get all the information on the next steps is to read the Guides. All the information for the K1 visa is there for you. Best of luck!

09/25/06- called VSC, told to file expedited service, outside 60 days of RFE received date

09/26/06- sent expedited service request to VSC via fax and snail mail

09/26/06- Senators and Congressman making inquiries into my petition

09/29/06- expedited service request approved by VSC director

12/17/07- I-765 approved new card should be mailed within 30 days, Advanced parole approved

02/28/08- AOS APPROVED!!!! PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD RECEIVED!!!!! (card received couple weeks after approval)

Don't forget to send a copy of the peititon and your NOA2 to your fiance for the interview. K-1s are not put into the system at NVC but you can call to get information. Check out the NVC and Enbassay forums for details.

:( I don't mean any disrespect to anyone at VSC who gets their approvals fast and fairly easy. Congrats to all who have the "blessing" of being able to file at Vermont. But speaking for those who are still sitting and waiting patiently at CSC for 6 to 9 months for an approval, seeing your approval in 25 days, or someone else's in 14 or 15 days is a bit hard to swallow. No, it's not your fault that CSC is so slow. But it is your fault for waving like a red flag the number of days it took you to get your NOA2. Why can't you just say that you got it and NOT say how long it took you to get it? Would that not be "nicer" to those who have waited for so long already? Waiting for 25 days for your approval is nothing compared to those poor souls who are still waiting for approval after more than 150 to 200 days. Those guys are suffering. 25 days. Bah! What kind of suffering is that? Geeez.
