i can't agree with you more. i'm not here for long time and i've seen wanabe cheaters everyday now in a way or another. nothing can be more painful than to be apart from the one you love. still, couples who can get through this, can get through ANYTHING. i try to get over it with the idea that nothing lasts forever and we see eachother when we can. thank god for webcam and microphone!! :D

I guess what irritates me the most is that if there was an easy way to do it...don't you think the wise people who have been on here for a VERY long time would have let us all in on that secret? There is no easy way!!! We are all left in the hands of the process. I just don't understand the thought process behind someone asking how to NOT do it to people you can see have been waiting months or years even to finally be able to be with their loved ones. Just super frustrating and I'm tired of seeing it.

What I find kind of strange is when someone asks a question and you or someone else knowledgable answers it according to the guidlines and regulations they hear it and reply and then of course say well we are doing it this way...and sometimes it works for them somtimes it doesnt...

My neighbor is separated from his wife from mexico...has been for over 4 years wont file for divorce....I always wondered why...but now i totally see it...they married after her visa here expired...got AOS and now because she isnt' a 10 yr green card holder they aren't legally divorcing....until she gets it...hmmmm no wonder all of us here have such a long journey... but the end is we can put our heads on our pillows next to our spouses and know we did it the right way without trying to get around the regulations.... Good luck to you all....we're in the NVC black hole for a while it seems... :hehe:

I try not to respond to them asking questions because I'm usually too busy cursing while reading it :) Like you said I don't have to worry about my husband having a ban because we have always followed the rules even when it wasn't the easiest choice to make. We'll all get there in the end, I may however be sitting in a rocking chair 80 years old before it happens LOL

You are right, the current processing time frame shows as 5 months. looks like you just submitted your petition (don't get mad just yet, it might take years also). long way to go. enjoy the ride till then. by the way a great post.

Sorry to say this but the people from UK sound little arrogant and they still think they are number 1 and ruling the world which is not true. US is number 1 not UK and you need to wait like everyone else for the processing time.

But if you look at her timeline it looks as though this isnt her first rodeo...she's done this with the fiance visa too if I'm not mistaken so she would know and understand way more than all of us newbies to the process... and I actually disagree with your statement that ppl from UK sound a little arrogant...there's plenty of those around in every portal...we're all here for the same reason to get our loved ones to live with us...thats it...and I do think that members on here that try to get around the red tape is unfair to all of us doing it the right way...thats it bottom line...because when that happens it has a ripple effect on all of us...everyone of us who had nothing to do with anything but just wanting the same thing...

It continues to amaze me that people come on a site that's for getting visa's and doing everything the correct way no matter how long it takes and asking questions about how to get around the rules. People are always on here looking for ways to cheat the system and how to get their spouse/significant other here without putting in the work and time it requires. I'm seriously annoyed by the fact that people are constantly doing this. NONE of us want to be apart from our partner and part of the reason all these rules and regulations are in place is because of the people trying to be sly. I've been apart from my husband for 2 years now...visits in between but not living the life we are envisioned because we are doing all of this immigration the correct way. This is my second time going through this...yes it was a choice but it doesn't making the time apart any easier. I would love for those people searching this site for a short cut to ####### off (to put it kindly). I'm sure plenty others feel the same way :) Discuss lol

Well spoken  we've been in this process for a year and three months and yes we're almost done but still took a long **s time

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

Yes I understand that and there are other countries too as well as many fraudulant americans...but you cant generalize everybody...and your very out of line if you are implying my husband is playing a fraud game...I simply said that she knows what the process is about as she has been thru this once before with a k1 visa...

Everytime someone voices a concern it always comes back to being patient...that was never the reason behind my comments..not my paitence or the others waiting on here. We know we have to wait it's what we signed up for. It's the people who try to get around the waiting that's frustrating. Try reading the entire topic :)
