:) I dont think they would just accept walk-ins. First they need your case lined up so they can put your biometrics with your file and then if they started doing walk-ins I am sure ppl would be willing to shell out money for flight and do walk-ins. Edited by Harsh_77

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing. A flight?

I don't know what you're talking about. They don't need the case to do biometrics as it's all done electronically by scanning the barcode on the biometrics letter. I'm not sure what the flight is about either.

Some offices accept walk-ins, others don't. If the office isn't too far away it's worth a try, if they're ages away and you can risk wasting the gas, then wait.

They do accept walk in's for sure. I did that the day I received my second biometrics notice(45 days late).

The lady at the desk thought I was requesting to be interviewed the same day!!She was going to call her supervisor for that.........when she realized I was asking for the biometrics!!

So, because my N-400, based on 5 yr of being a resident, has been delayed so long for no fault of mine(someone just missed out on mailing me a seconf biometrics notice!!)

When I receive my interview, I am planing to go and request for an earlier date. And I hope it works!:) (No harm in trying, if you can.)
