Hiiii

I applied for I130 for my spouse on July 8th.

Noa 1- July 8th, 2010

Transferred the case form CSC to texas because CSC was busy on Nov 29th, 2010.

They then transferred back the case to CSC on Feb 10th, 2011 after I called and put in a request to see what was going on with my case.

On Feb11th I received a notice saying my I130 was approved and USCIS website showed status as Post decision activity.

Today (Feb 27th, 2011) I received a text form USCIS saying that on Feb 10th, 2011 they send me a transfer notice form TSC to CSC and my case went back to initial review on the USCIS website.

I do have the I-797 notice which states that my I130 was approved and has been transferred to NVC though I havent received a NVC case number yet.

Is this possible? My case went from initial review to post decision activity and back to initial review after they send me the approval notice for I-130(noa2).

If you received your NOA-2 then there shouldn't be an issue. Maybe the status changed when they sent the petition over to NVC. Start calling NVC to get your case number.

What is your NOA-2 date?

Good luck

My NOA2 date was Feb 11, 2011. Both the email I received and the I-797 notice I received in the mail said the date was Feb 11.

I would like to believe its an error too. Tired of waiting. :( I shall call them tomm I guess.

I called NVC on Feb 25th and they said its still not in the system yet. Hopefully soon.

Yep, same thing happened to me -- reverting from the approved

"Post Decision Activity" to "Initial Review".

Thanks to Google I was able to find you post :-)

I'm guessing that it is an "accidental update" by USCIS.

Because it can't go from "Initial Review" to approved

"Post Decision Activity" unless it was actually approved.

Since this happened on a Sunday for me (2/27/2011), I'm guessing that

a program that runs on the weekend accidently updated everybody's

status to "Initial Review".

At least, that is what I'm hoping!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Same thing happened to me - Status changed to Post decision activity on 16/feb/2011 and today received email notification indicating that I am back in the Initial review phase. Seeing the number of people with the same problem, I'm hoping that this is just a computer glitch. Status in the Supervisor's computers does say that the petition has been approved.
