This question goes to Katie and Kattykat,

I also was wondering where my receipt e-mail had gone aswell, but fortunately I got it yesterday. Have both of you got the NOA of case transfer to CSC in the mail yet??

I was thinking that at least that would be something!?

:(

Sharky, I received an email saying it had been transferred on 14 September and I received my NOA in the post, but as yet still no email saying they've received it. It was sent 2 weeks ago now. It's frustrating but oh well I guess there is a lot worse that could of happened and I should be thankful that the hold up is now when I am with my husband, and not while I was doing the K1. Well tomorrow is another day and maybe then they will receive my case....but I won't hold my breath

Newbie poster here. But I've been watching this thread since the fist of the month, since we were also transfered to CSC.

First of all, congrats Stina. Magda and I were happy to read of your approval Yesterday.

Second, we have some good new to share. We also recieved the "welcome notice" email this morning. Magda's been approved - We are delighted

The funny thing is that just yesterday, we got agreement from the local service center to request expidited processing of our AP application (Magda's sister is quite sick). We were expecting to see a email indicating approval of for that. Image the surprise when I read the first or the 10 emails saying "On September 28, 2006, a welcome notice was mailed for this case".

Our lawyer suggests making an appointment and getting her passport stamped, if she want to go home before the green card arrives (which I think she does). The lawyer said they don't typically stamp the passports anymore (relying on the green card). But in case like this, they will and it would be a good precaution (altough I should be able to follow her in a couple of weeks, bringing the green card with me).

Thanks to everyone sharing their experiences here. It has help us more thank we can say.

Stina Posted Today, 12:52 PM

Congrats to all the new approvals!!! CSC has finally woken up!!

Quick question, you know how at the green card interview, they take away your I-94 and such? What do we do with it since we didnt have an interview? Just throw it out?

Honestly Stina, I would just file with all the other USCIS paperwork, you never know, they may ask you to mail it back, in about 10 years.

Congratulations to all those who have been approved. We are still waiting for our files to be transferred (we only found out on Wednesday that preliminary processing has been done so the rest should be reasonably speedy). Any ideas what makes them transfer files, and who we need to call to see if and when our file is on the move?

I would keep chewing my nails as I have done these past few months, but I have no nails left.

hugs
