What the government is doing is no different than reaching into my refrigerator and taking my food because poor people are hungry, without any concern for whether it would make me hungry.

Point Blank... Nobody should complain until they have reached their five month mark. Until then I agree with a previous post about emotional rambling. Everybody is aware of the five month wait and should have been prepared for it.

I have no vitriol to Haitians or charitable or humanitarians issues either.

however, the facts are clear and when I release all the info I have amassed in the

last 2 weeks regarding the executive direction of this white house, I will

accept your apology, indeed you are already forgiven.

the facts are resounding: VSC are buried but their focus is

not with US citizen tax payer petitions. PERIOD.

To donate a percentage of resources to such humanitarian issues

I have no problem with, to reward illegals I have an issue.

But to COMPLETELY prioritize all K1s and other visas

UNTIL 30 days beyond the timeline 'guidleines' is disgusting.

Yes, you heard me right : VISAS are not being processed and will only expedite

after 30 days beyond the normal processing times at VSC.

their priorities are in 'other areas' - verbatim to a Senior Senatorial staffer.

therefore no K1 applicant at VSC can expect a case look until after 6 months not 5.

As for me and my house, we do serve the Lord and I spent Christmas at orphanages

in Russia with my fiancee, where she has faithfully served and given for many years.

I have no problem with charity - but to completely take away from petitioners who

fund the USCIS and tax payers who fund government is disgusting.

Nov 2012 cannot come soon enough for many reasons.

usc petitioners with chilean beneficiary's can ask for, and get, an expedite at USCIS.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Contacting my senator AND congressman hasnt helped me at all! Hate to keep throwing this around but, I'm serving actively in the military and deploying soon (not soon enough to get expedited- HILARIOUS). My expedite request was denied and I'm five days shy of a 6month wait. I'm with AL... we have to consider that the mistreatment of US citizens is wrong.

I am a US CITIZEN born and raised. I paid the same cold hard cash that you paid to file my petition, and probably more since some of you filed after the decrease in rates. This is not a charity or relief effort we are talking about here.

Were you or your fiance having a heart attack, were you unable to support your family, were you in any situation that required your fiance qualify for and to receive expedition i would have absolutely no problem waiting a few extra days.. because that's what this boils down to.. five months and twenty-five days or six months and ten days.. to help someone that could potentially die because they are in a horrific situation.

Oh boy. I am sympathetic to the situation in Haiti. I really am. This WAS a relief effort on USCIS's part. Others have already pointed out that their fiance's live in horrible 3rd world conditions that could cause them to die as well but they werent given expedite. But hey you already got your NOA2 so you have nothing to worry about now. Can't say the same for my childhood friend who is still waiting almost 7 months now to get his NOA2. His fiance does not live in conditions I would consider sanitary but oh well their suffering isn't enough I guess.
