07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Took me forever to get to work this morning! Slid thru 2 intersections 0_o ...wake me when its Spring!

Sounds like my drive into work this morning. There really wasn't that much snow but the plows with the salt hadn't been out so all the roads were greasy. I left early so I wan't late to work but was hearin gall morning at work how late everyone was.! :blink:

:dance: :dance: Wael passed his citizenship interview this morning! :dance: :dance:

We're so excited to think only one more thing to do now. Wait for his oath date!

His final semester was to begin today, but with the president going to speak at the University of Arizona,

all classes will begin tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good day! Beautiful day here...sunny with a high of 66.

application and asked had anything changed. Was surprised he hadn't been home since he

arrived in the states. Wael told her between working and classes he had no time. She also asked

him what his plans were after graduation.

Test questions she asked:

What is the name of the President of the United States now?

What is the political party of the President now?

Who is the Commander in Chief of the military?

There were 13 original states. Name three.

Name one state that borders Mexico.

What are the two major political parties in the United States?

He had to read: Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

He had to write: Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence.

That was his test! He now has to wait for a letter notifying him of his oath date.

He called his family and they were so happy for him.

Sure hope everyone has a wonderful day! Beautiful sunrise here.

Hello Mena! Well went to the doctor and have broncial infection and sinus infection! UGH! I hope to go back to work tomorrow as i've missed 2 days already!

Jeanne~Congrats to Wael on pasing his citizen's test!!!! Whoo hoo big celebrations!!

Terrie~feel better! I hate winter colds!! Right now we are all battling sinus issues. It's the weather, going from hot to cold in less than 12 hours!! and it's not even pollen season yet!!!

I don't have any other reason to be happy except I can sleep in tomorrow!!!!

Hello MENA Peeps. I'm so sad and happy at the same time, Happy for Medo he is going to go to Egypt and see his family. Sad cus I didn't think we would ever be apart from each other after that 2 1/2 year wait for him to get a visa. So he is leaving Tuesday and will be gone for 6 weeks :crying: I can't stop crying. But his moma needs to see him.
