Good morning MENA!!

Been going on and off VJ for the past couple of hours in between patients.

Jenell!! How are you doing sweetie??? I have been researching about ROC. Not that it's time for hubby to do it, but well, I can say that I am a little OCD :blush:

I noticed one of the evidence they recommend was christmas cards addressed to the both of us. I wish I knew that before I thew all of them away!!!!! :angry: I guess I should have really kept the envelopes with our names on them but again, I shred EVERYTHING that has our names on it. :bonk: Oh well!

Hello everyone in the MENA world, today I am dancing on air, I LEAVE FOR CAIRO SATURDAY!!!!!!!! :dance: Ahmed and I have been apart soooo long. I will be staying there with him until the end of February so I am hoping by then we will have the interview date and he will be following me home shortly!!! Ohhhhh I am soooooo HAPPY!!!!!!!!

Hey Andrea!!! :star: sorry about the Christmas cards :crying: I hope they don't ask us for any cards because we don't have any.. We haven't even wrote to our family back in Egypt.. we talk online or over the phone :unsure: it would have been nice to have letters from them addressed to us... I hate this immigration thing a ma jig(using nice words for not so nice words) :innocent: I'll be glad we he's a citizen and maybe he can get a federal job and maybe we can move.. my youngest daughter will be starting middle school soon and from what my oldest daughter said about that school, I'm scared :unsure::wacko:

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Happy New Year everyone!! I also started this year out sick, with an upper respiratory infection but I finally got medicine for it yesterday...I hope 2011 brings everyone together with their loved ones. Best of luck to everyone with their process;)

Happy New Year everyone! I just called my travel agent to buy a ticket to go to Malaysia to see my fiance in March (after 6 months of being apart). I hope to stay with him until his visa is approved. *crosses fingers* I am in pretty good spirits now that I'll soon have a date to count down to.

Amber, enjoy your trip to Cairo. I wanna go too! :lol:

Happy Friday MENA VJer's,

TGIF!!!!!!! Is really all I can say. Having started out the new year with a bang litterally. Having car problems again. Something is up with my driver side tire. It's making really loud noises. So of course this puts one in a great mood. My honey says were goign to leave the car on the side of some streat with my key's in it when he get's here!! jk ;) Might be getting it fixed this weekend?? (Hope it's not to expensive!!) :bonk:

Hello everyone in MENA world!!! I booked my ticket today on Delta and will be flying out Monday for Cairo!!! Yay it's a few days later than I originally planned but that's ok come Tuesday afternoon I will be in Ahmed's arms again!!! Everyone be safe and be happy!!! I know Ahmed and I are!!! Waaaaaahooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

In 4 days Wael takes his citizenship test! The final countdown to what seemed like a

forever journey! Whatever shall we do without the USCIS! What a ride!

Wael also took his GMAT and did AWESOME!! 2011 is a milestone year!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone that I dont talk to on Facebook. Seems it has been forever since I have posted on here. I hope that the new year brings everyone good news and a happy year. I know that the first part of last year is what brought me here and I can say I have made the best of friends and even tho I didnt actually do the visa journey I am happy to say I have the most amazing husband and found him on facebook. LOL. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone and enjoy your weekend!
