Hi

When I log into USCIS site, and type my receipt number I get a message saying my number not known..etc

I call USCIS and operators have to transfer me to another tier because they can't validate my number.

when I talked to the officer she said it takes several weeks for it to show up online and for the customer service person to see this..

So I assume no one has even looked at the document for I-130??

There is no way for us to know whether they looked or not..My number doesn't work either and I called in NOV and the guy at uscis said it could be up to 2 months before it will..there is several of us Nov filers that our numbers dont work:(

Ours is not working too. My husband called USCIS and they said it's normal. They also said that what matters is the hard copy of NOA1 and Noa2. they also can't tell if it will ever work. :bonk:

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*

10/04/10 - filed for I-130

2/14/11 - I-130 approved in 148 days

NVC

3/23/11 - NVC case number assigned

3/23/11 - Called NVC and gave email addresses to be added to case

3/26/11 - DS-3032 form received.

3/26/11 - Paid AOS fees online.

3/30/11 - AOS package received by NVC

4/8/11 - DS-230 Package IV fee payment option available, paid same day.

4/12/11 - Package IV fees shows as Paid. Mailed Package IV documents

4/14/11 - Package IV delivered to NVC.

4/26/11 - SIF!!

6/7/2011- Interview date

6/7/2011= Received 221g asking for co-sponsor

7/7/2011-VISA APPROVED

Yeah Us to...can't be found online however when we called USCIS they did validate the receipt and that it has been moved forward for the approval process. She was very helpful and said that for some reason their system somtimes doesnt' get the updates as they want. But she did validate everything and said we were definitely in the system and the paperwork has indeed been sent to the next stage for NOA2 approval. Hope that helps some too!! Good luck to you all and happy new year!

My husband called USCIS yesterday to check about our receipt number that is not working. We actually called them before (as soon as we found out that the receipt number was not working) and they told us to give it a few weeks or a month. So after a month, my hubby called. He's kinda upset because those people just doesn't understand how it is to be in our shoes. Well, he got the answer from a Tier 2 :no: , yes a Tier 2, to give to give it a month. My husband got pissed because it is so clear that they did not even check the file to find out that it has been over a month. :bonk: Just another standard protocol, we guess. So hubby told the Tier 2 that it has been over a month and he got the level 2 standard protocol: give it a few more day :whistle:

My husband can't believe that is where his huge taxes are going to.. :yes:
