yeah its fine you will jsut have to answer a question that you met online but that isn't a problem.. I would say over 50% of people on here probably met online.

yep... doesnt matter how you met... just be honest and be able to prove your relationship with your ticket stubs from visiting, etc... the same would apply to however you meet

I met my lovey dovey online....no problems here. Well, other than the ludicrous waiting we have to do. But yea...at least half of us here have met online...like everyone said. Be brutally honest. the only thing that will bite you is if you hide anything or lie about anything. Other than that, you'll be fine. Good luck!

At our K-1 Visa interview, every couple there that day had met online.... it seems to be the way people meet their significant others in other countries these days.

There was no problem with any of the couples and we all got our visas that day.

It seems to be the way of the world these days. I met someone online before David - he was local, and we dated a while. Wasn't meant to be. David and I met while I was on vacation in Germany... he is so NOT into computers.... Never would have met him if I'd relied on online matching. I will forever be grateful that my online 'romance' did not work out.

(A) IN GENERAL.—The term ‘‘personal contact information’’ means information, or a forum to obtain such information, that would permit individuals to contact each other, including—

(i) the name or residential, postal, electronic mail, or instant message address of an individual;

(ii) the telephone, pager, cellphone, or fax number, or voice message mailbox of an individual; or

(iii) the provision of an opportunity for an in-person meeting.

(B) EXCEPTION.—Such term does not include a photograph or general information about the background or interests of a person.

I met my lady through EHarmony, and the lawyers didn't think it would be a problem. DHS didn't have an issue.
