Ok, I can go next. My email is wolfthat@gmail.com

I am from Warsaw, Poland and my husband Pete is from Chicago. We met when I was a student in Illinois 7 years ago and the goofball didn't want to get married so I had to leave the country after I graduated in 2006 - didn't want to overstay my student visa. Now he says letting me go was the worst decision he's ever made. Well, duh! So now we're both trying to make up for the lost 4 years.

I have to say this stage at USCIS is the most agonizing wait I've had in my life. I think it will pick up speed at NVC. There you can at least DO SOMETHING. And here we just wait. I'm just hoping our case will go smoothly. I dread any RFE or other problems. Just have to stay positive, I guess.

Oh, and our case is STILL not found on USCIS website :(

hello folks. Any idea what could this mean?

On January 7, 2011, your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of January 7, 2011, contact customer service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move while your case is pending, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I am really confused now. I submitted the package on Dec 13th.... :o

Thanks to all the feedback received. I call USCIS, and finally they told me the NOA1 had been return as undeliverable by the mail. They sent it again and I got the hard copy now. Thanks again and good luck to all of you

You are showing a filing location of N/A. Which filing location are you at? Maybe you are at Vermont or Texas, and those locations are faster to create visibility than California?

Hi folks...

Yeah, I can't check my status on USCIS either...

For the people who don't know me yet: I'm Silvia, 25, and I met my husband on vacation on the Domenican Republic, 4 years ago. We spent the most romantic 3 days of our life there... And after multiple visits and skypedates we got married last November.

I want to share this e-mail with you, it's the first e-mail I received from Jesse after we spent those days in DR...

Silvia,

I hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday. Since leaving my thoughts have been flooded with feelings for you. I'm finding that the things that seemed important to me before don't mean as much anymore. You had mentioned that before meeting me, you had never been one to believe in fate or to just let your heart control your actions or to trust so easily. Well, as I told you after hearing that, you completely took the words from my mouth. In my time to reflect, I've realized that something very significant (maybe only once in a lifetime) happened to the two of us...and I can't imagine it happening ever again with someone else (nor do I want it to). Being with you even for that short time was more than just comforting, it was like a union of souls...a completion...the best way I can explain it is that it felt like I was following a script that had been written since the beginning of time (and not by me). It was divine and meant more than anything else (money, power, or sex). It seems corny but I'm realizing The Beatles had it right when they wrote "All You Need Is Love". I have to admit I feel vulnerable telling you all these feelings (I usually keep any feelings bottled up inside)...and upon examination, I know there's nothing rational about it...but I do know that if I ignored it and did nothing, I would always feel a bit lost and not whole...and that would yield a lifetime of regret. So, this message is very deep and there's nothing small about it, but with you I feel like it's ok...you understand...like the kind of understanding one develops with a person she's slept and traveled alongside for the last 50 years. More than anything, I just want you to know Silvia, that I have a very deep desire to spend more time with you and to explore a relationship together. The desire is so strong that I'd be willing to make sacrifices that I never could have imagined considering in the past. We only get one life...and anything I change now that might delay my personal goals would be well worth the possible rewards of what you and I could be together...I can't think of a better investment of my time. So, with that said, I want to stay closely in touch, and explore the idea of getting very close to each other again (physically speaking) in the near future. I just want to hold you...and feel your presence. Other things just seem to pale in comparison.

Jesse

I mean how can you not marry a person that writes you an e-mail like that?
