Hi, I'm married to a US citizen and about to send my I-130 and I-485 applications! But my mom wants to visit during this time.

Because my other sister is pregnant here in the US and my mom wants to be here for the due date! She is about to apply to get her tourist visa! I wonder if my green card application effects her tourist visa application! I wonder that when she applies if they could see my green card application on their system! She is planing to stay only couple of months and then she will go back! Should I wait to send my application until she gets her tourist visa?

I would really appreciate if you could help me!

Thanks

Please don't use so many exclamation points... most of the ones you used make no sense :S

Your GC app shouldn't have an effect on it, but together with your sister having a baby it might.

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to "Tourist Visas" as this is a qn about a tourist visa application **

What ties to your home country does your mom have (job, other kids/ grandkids, property, savings etc)? In theory, your application shouldn't affect your mom's, but if you and your sister are her only children, it could be argued she has more ties to the US than to her home country now...

Your mother's tourist visa application should not reflect her need to go to the US, but her NEED to return to her home country. Obviously she'll need to disclose any family in the US.

Good luck
