Just got to know through infopass that my I-485 has been approved and I should receive it in mail anytime ..... Came back home and found out the WELCOME TO AMERICA NOTICE

Congrats to you ! You were so blessed having no interview :)

We are in the same exact boat. It is a little frustrating. Lately it seems many people are either not finding their cases online or are not seeing updates. When you just can't see your case (like you and my husband) it seems even more frustrating like you don't even exist to them! Hoping we both get EAD notices soon!! And interview notices too!

Just ignore the case update online. That's really useless, at least for me because it didn't show any update since Dec 18 while I was done with biometrics. Anyways, I'm feeling kinda frustrated too. I really hope all of us will get interview letters soon or at least EAD to start working since I've been bored out of my mind :wacko:

I am also a november filer(nov. 8th). And i have waited and waited and i decided to call uscis. they told me about the RFE, then i called again ...they told me i will recieve my biometrics. I have already completed my biometrics last week. So now when i call uscis, there is a robot that tells me the latest update on my case. There is also the option to speak to a person, but lately the robot has been good enough for me.

SO if you don't see your case status call the number below where it tells you "your case can not be found" and press the number 2 i think..where it says "to get the latest update on your case or to report a problem press 2 or something like that.

They made a mistake with my address so it's a good thing i called otherwise i would have never known that my RFE letter was undeliverable...(because they messed up my apt number :angry: )

Got an Email Today saying that my EAD Card is in production and being printed I should recieve it within 30 days.

I think its a little too late seeing how my interview is Feb 7th!!!

Wish it would of came here sooner, but Im happy that its being printed!

I got my NOA1s in early December after mid-November filing, and got a late December biometrics appointment which I attended. Nothing since then. None of my case numbers are in the online system. It's becoming a little frustrating not to have any indication of the progress of the application.

Same here Tempo House... I'm guessing with all the snow storm... things will just delay more... :(

11/10/10 ------- NOA1 received for I-130, I-485 and I-765 (emails)

11/12/10 ------- NOA1 received for I-130, I-485 and I-765 (hard copies)

11/12/10 ------- Touches on I-130, I-485 and I-765

11/19/10 ------- Biometrics appointment letter received

12/06/10 ------- RFE for I-693 (I think the issue is that it was not signed. Called USCIS and will receive a letter in a few days explaining)

12/16/10 ------- EAD card in production (email)

12/20/10 ------- Received "Letter of Explanation" for RFE (Service Request to expedite my case. Called USCIS and was told to ignore that and just send in response to RFE.)

One more question, how to update you SSN ?? What's the procedure ??

MAC just go the SSN office with your old SSN and GC, the person at the counter would take care of the rest and after that give you a receipt. Within 10 days you will receive your new SSN at your address.

I hope you know that before you apply for citizenship you need to get through one more step: you need to lift conditions on your residency first and get your 10 years GC. You will be eligible to apply for lifting conditions 90 days before your current GC expires.

:o Im AOS thru marriage to a u.s citizen from overstayed visa waiver.

Our interview is in 2 weeks and Im starting to get really nervous! I dont like to be on the spot light im afraid if they officer ask's me a question im going to spaz out and not remember the answer

I dont have anything to hide & we've been together since 2006

So far I've made a Photo album with pictures of us together on trips, pictures with family and friends

Cards from Family, Cards from Eachother thru out the years, anniversary cards, valentines day cards. etc

& then I will bring a seperate folder with all original documents.

If anyone has their interview before me please let me know how it goes!

Just to let everyone know, we had our interview and everything went soooooooo well. My husband and son were making fun of me because I should have brought a wheelbarrow with me to carry all the paperwork I brought. (ok it was only the stuff that they had on the check list, but I had envelopes for my son as well as mine)

I am sooo happy :dance:

I got another biometrics appointment again. They need my fingerprint to be re-taken because the FBI was unable to process my last fingerprints card :wacko: . I'm so unlucky since it will delay my process and the weather now is really scary with lots of snow :(

11/8/10: Medical exam

11/12/10:Get married

11/19/10: I-693 sealed.It means my chest x ray is fine :)

11/20/10: Package [ I-130,I-485,I-765] sent to Lockbox

11/22/10 [Day 1]: Delivered there

11/29/10 [Day 7]: Return receipt from USPS

12/13/10 [Day 21]: Texts and email received [ after 21 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

12/16/10 [Day 24]: Snail copy received

12/18/10 [Day 26]: Every single form touched

12/20/10 [Day 28]: Biometrics letter received

1/13/11 [Day 51]: Biometrics done

1/24/11 [Day 62]: Biometrcis appointment received AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!I was like #######

2/04/11 [Day 72]: Second biometrics done

2/15/11 [Day 83]: EAD in production.

2/18/11 [Day 86]: Interview letter received, set for March 21

2/22/11 [Day 90]: EAD mailed out.

2/25/11 [Day 93]: EAD received

3/21/11 [Day 118]: Interview but left with no decision ToT

3/31/11 [Day 128]: RFE regarding police clearance

4/13/11 [Day 141]: RFE sent

4/19/11 [Day 147]: Card in production

4/22/11 [Day 150]: Welcome2USA letter received

It took 5 stressful months exactly.
