Hi everybody!

First, thank you all so much for this forum. It was and is such a big help.

I filed all my docs AOS, EAD, AP on Nov 22. Still heard nothing. Everyday I am checking email/ phone/ and bank account, like about million times daily.

The wait is heartbreaking. I did not recived NOA, checks are not cashed yet.Uhhh.... I have no idea how long I should wait.

I am adjusting form F1 ( graduated in Agust 2010, currently on post- complition OPT until Feb 16th 2011). Ahhh....

I wish you all the best! Fingers crossed for you~!

Welcome! You will normally receive the NOA within 2-3 weeks. Hang in there. If you sent in the form for e-notification, you should get those within a few business days after delivery. Was your package delivered or sent on the 22nd?

Thank you so much for kind words!

My package was delivered on the Nov. 22 ( I did want to make it before charges changed ). I did signed up for email notofication.... and nothing. nothing.

I was preparing package for about month. I even had consulattion with a lawyer( which was a wast of $100). I was never out of status, I sent copies of my current EAD card and previous one ( pre- completion OPT), I did send copy of SSN card, copy of current visa and all the other documents... all proofs that I filed taxes for the last three years 2007-2010 as a graduate sudent with old I -20's.... It just seems that everyone heard something.

Well, we got married on the Nov20, and package was sent an hour after the ceremony via Fedex express. Crazy time for us!

keep waiting.

This is odd... Just got a text message from USCIS saying that the status on my AOS had been updated. After checking, it shows that it has been transfered to the California Service Center and that a notice had been sent to explain this action. Now, I remember reading that some people took that to mean an interview or not. However, I haven't even received my biometrics appointment letter yet! I called USCIS last week to expedite my EAD and again today, but this is the AOS... What's going on?

We got the same text message and status update when checking www.USCIS.gov. However, Michael does have Biometrics scheduled, but not completed yet.

I'd double-check the November filers in the Adjustment from Work/Student/Employment visa forum. They will probably march to the beat of a different drum, because everyone here is adjusting from a family-based visa.

Good Luck and Congrats :)
