hello

I heard something that we cant use the stapler to put the papers together while preparing the papers to send to the NVC like PCC,marriage certificate and birth cert.

is that true ? bec i already translated our marriage certificate and it has the stapler

sorry it seems a silly question but i just worried of it..

NVC accepted our AOC but we dont have the invoice number yet how long it takes the NVC to send the email or mail to us ?

thanks

Call NVC and get ur IIN number it will save you some time rather than waiting on NVC to email stuff to you.

Yeah NVC advise not to staple docs together.

Citizenship next step!

Hey Aya820! I received the same email. Check payment portal if you're able to pay IV bill. If so, they have accepted your DS-3032. :D

Nah nothing yet...I will probably be wearing the computer out checking every 5 minutes though

Now you wait. :clock:

You can call as often as you want to see if your documents have moved from the mail room and are being processed. You can also keep checking the online payment portal for SIF. Good luck!

I'm not adding those days. Those were taken when we were in USCIS adjudication.

Okay, I got this response with my last DS-3032 email:

"Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Any documents received at the National Visa Center that have not been requested will not be reviewed and may be returned to you. Please do not send any documents until they are requested.

This petition is now eligible for further processing. The petitioner, beneficiary, and/or attorney of record will receive further instructions regarding the processing of this petition."

I'm taking that as an acceptance. Now...I am ready to send my I-864. Right now my wife's name is on the form as her maiden name. It has changed since filing I-130. I was thinking it would be simple just to use the maiden name on everything and then use her current name on DS-230, adding in this package the document that shows her name change.

What think ye wise folk of the immigration forum.
