Oh finally I planted my foot up my husband's #### far enough - he FINALLY sent me the scanned copies of his signed G325A and passport photos.. after.. THREE months of whacking him over the head to get it done (and a month of mail mishaps which were not his fault.. but when you're rarin' to go, any delay is interminable)!!

I will be mailing this out tomorrow! :D :D :D:D

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

ROFL.. sorry for the laugh, but I had to do the same thing!! Didn't take 3 months, but I had to wait. Now... now to freak out, but am I mistaken? I thought we sent the ORIGINALS of the G-325a in with the I-130? and Original Passport Pictures? (I assume that's what you are talking about?)

Welcome to the group!!! Hope the only delays you have the process was getting those forms!

*nods* You're right, but when I printed out the color version (he signed it in blue ink) it looked like he had just signed it with a dark blue pen, so I went ahead and then copied that. He is also couriering me actual copies of that form (because the first set has apparently gotten lost in the mail) so if there /is/ a RFE based on that, I can go ahead and pop it in the mail. The photo I took to a Walgreens and had them print it out, so it is an actual photo.

I don't normally fudge things like that, esp. when dealing with the government, but considering I almost had these things in my hands when I was last in Canada in August, the delays were then just too much to deal with. Especially since I had to poke him with a sharp pointy stick about it every time we talked. I hate being a nag, but I hate someone putting off something important like this because he's being 'prickly' even more. :bonk:

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Oh, I think he knew I was going to make a surprise visit that he wasn't going to like if I wasn't going to be able to mail the petition out this month.. I may not be able to get on the floor of the building he works at, but I do know where he parks..

Oh yes, I do believe everyone will be tired of me posting in here by the time everything is done and over with. ;) Case in point: according to the delivery confirmation, the Chicago lockbox got my packet early this morning, woohoo! Now to refresh my online banking twice a day to see when the check clears.. :innocent::whistle:

Just a few quick questions!

Now, we are gathering proof of our relationship and marriage. So far im thinking:

Photos from every time we have been together (this is probably about 100 or more photos, and im planning on making a collage type thing on a word document to save on printing costs and make things more organized. Should I send all photos or pick a select few?)

Plane tickets. Now heres a problem. I have visited him 4 times and he has visited me once. We only have 2 of my plane tickets (in the form of confirmation emails) and cannot for the life of me find any proof of the other two or his. Will the stamps in our passports suffice?

MSN chat history (another hiccup, dont seem to have saved it plus my computer is having a hissy fit, but if i find it, im thinking a page a month to show consistency)

Photocopies of letters and cards sent from me to him (he never sent me any...!)

Emails sent to each other

Facebook wall-to-wall and messages

Affidavits from the pastor who marries us, my parents, and his parents (do these need to be notarized?)

AND I think thats about it.

Does this sounds about right? Overboard/Underboard?!

Thanks

Hi Amy & Nick,

My husband and I got married about two weeks ago, and recently sent in our I-130 and just got our first NOA a few days ago. As for our evidence of a bona fide marriage, we included photos throughout the years we've been dating (5 sheets of photo paper with 6 pictures printed on each sheet), intineraries of most of our visits to see each other and trips taken together (about 12 pages worth), scanned copies of personal cards, and 4 affidavits (one family member and one friend on each side)...also, on the pictures, we typed in the dates (month and year) and the city they were taken in right on the photos where there was space before we printed them...That's about all the evidence we provided, we didn't want to overwhelm them with tons of evidence which can also be provided at the interview too.

Hope that helps and best of luck to you both!
