Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

The odds for Nani's mom to get a visa were probably 70/30 against. She doesn't have much to show on paper that ties her to Ethiopia in terms of property, family, etc. Yet, she got the visa without any problems. I sent her an invitation (since I am a USC), included an I-134 (needed or not) as well as some documentation to show that I am married to her daughter and that we're expecting a baby. With that, the Consulate granted her a 2-year multiple entry visa no questions asked. Her I-94 for this visit is good for 6 months and she does intend to stay just about that long.

Again, we thought the odds are against this happening but we thought we'd try anyway. And it's a good thing we did.

Girl. Sept 20. Yes.
