Your first stop would be to talk to the International Admissions Officer at the school you have chosen.

Difficult for a 5 year old- student visas are designed for college students- but not impossible. She would need to attend a private school, or pay full economic fees for a public school (which, funnily enough, often makes private school the cheaper option!).

One reason that it is hard for grade school students to get a student visa is that the "student" is expected to show they have the money to cover their schooling and living which is difficult for someone too young to earn money. I am not sure how you overcome this requirement if you can.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

A 5 year old would not be allowed to attend a Public School on a F1

I would imagine the vast majority of those on F1's do not have the resources to fund their own education, they have Parents etc who do.

Yup - the OP needs to do this, first.

Otherwise, is a complete 'waste of time and resources' to try to 'do something else'.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
