Timeline

We filed for an AP and it was sent back because there was no check attached.

It was my impression that the money sent for the adjustment of status includes an advanced parole if needed.

No problem thought because two days later my wife's green card arrived.

Did you include a copy of the I-797C receipt notice for the I-485? :whistle:

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

Did you include a copy of the I-797C receipt notice for the I-485? :whistle:

I did not. It was not included with the instructions. Only that no fee was necessary. Good idea though for anyone else reading the forum. One would think that the process of approval would include looking at the case on file. As I said no harm as her green card came two days later.

Really? I think I will quote the instructions for the I-131 for the benefit of others so they do not make the same mistake.

NOTE: If you are filing Form I-131 based on a pending Form I-485, include a copy of the I-797C Notice of Action, which shows your Form I-485 was accepted.
