September is still a stuck month. Less than half have been approved. It's disheartening to see people that filed after us approved.

I e-mailed my Congressman today, as it is April 4th. I informed him that there was no update on the status of my case and that in the previous e-mail that I had received from him stated that if I did not have a decision by today that he could then contact VSC and resquest an immediate decision on my case... This was his response...

"I just called the Vermont Service Center. A request from the Congressional Unit of VSC has been sent to the official adjudicating the case for an immediate review. Therefore, an approval, denial or request for additional documentation should be made by the beginning of next week. I have noted your case for follow up next Monday."

Super good. I am flying out to Moldova next Thursday, so it would make it a double good week. I am also hoping that since I should be getting my approval next week, that 90 days would be sufficient time for my SO to have her interview scheduled, visa in hand, and prepared to return with me on the same flight. Here we go!...
