Hi Everyone,

So today I went in for my interview. I got in 45 minutes early, seeing how my appointment was at 10:30 am. We waited and waited and waited and then at 11:30 I was finally called in.

The IO was nice......

I'm a US Citizen!!!! whooooo hoooo. The Oath ceremony was a wonderful experience. I'm glad is all over, and I don't have to deal with our friends at USCIS anymore. I tried to go to the SSN office and Driver license to update my records but the wait time was over 3 hours, so that is going to have to wait. I was able to register to vote, and will be appliying for a password next week.

thanks much! I just had my interview last Thursday and was surprised that i got the letter yesterday. It might be because I applied through the 5 years requirement and I'm single as well which doesn't really make them verify anything else. Hopefully your hubby will get his soon!

Updating my wife's data. Her interview letter arrived today, with her interview scheduled for the morning of 03/01. Since the Washington, DC Office does same-day oath ceremonies, this means she can expect to have her oath in the afternoon of the same day.

Got our interview date finally!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know how long for the Oath ceremony after the Interview? My wife opt to change her middle name only. Glad to see the interview date at last but it may conflict with our planned travel overseas on March 3rd. Will be out of the country until April 20th.
