I would assume that total days would be "working/business" days. Just guessing. Not sure.

Question to SR members. Does the USCIS count holiday's & weekends? Today is 112 days since I received NOA1 or 80 (without holiday's & weekend). If anyone knows that would be great this waiting is making me sick! :(:crying:

waiting for NOA2 makes me loss more hair, lol. NOA1 dated June 14 and I dont know until when can I wait. Maybe I can ask my guy to move here in Canada instead :(

Don't give up yet! It's "only" been 3 months. Our NOA1 is dated a week after yours, 90 days today. Waiting sucks but don't lose the faith, it's gonna happen! Sometimes waiting on love can weaken you but if you have your heart set on the prize, it gives you strenght. Just remember that it will all be worth in the end!

I know it's very discouraging that no one seems to have been approved by the CSC in nearly a month. My VJ timeline says "not enough cases have been recently approved to calculate a time". I'm also worried that with the holidays coming up our cases will take even longer because of the closures and employee vacations.

Those numbers are only estimates based on the timelines that the people on this site fill out. I'm guessing the people who use this site are only a fraction (albeit a fairly representative sample) of all the people submitting petitions.

The downside to this is, those dates are only averages/estimates, not official information. The upside is, you can help make that data more accurate by keeping your timeline updated! This is why you see all these requests for people to update their timelines - it benefits everybody.

Slowed down due to a back log of H1b's. H1b's have a service window of >2 months. They got behind. Also, h1b's are eligible for 'premium' processing. I work for a company with a large number of H1b's. I asked our HR immigration person and our immigration lawyer. They told me that USCIS is dedicated almost all of its resources to clearing the H1b backlog. Its the Economy stupid.....makes the employment numbers look better.

Even our love is being affected by the economy.... Good news, they are starting to clear the backlog of H1b's and shifting people back to other types of petitions.
