Hello everyone, many thanks for for your time as this is surely a commonly asked question................

My fiance finally arrived here in the usa,we just got married and need to know what to do next,I want to make sure I do this stuff right because we all know what incomplete or lack of forms will do to the time frame of this lengthy process,I downloaded the following forms-

g-325A

I-130

i-485

I-864

Is this all the forms I need or are there more?,do I need I-129f also?,I thought this one was done already when we did our paperwork for the initial K-1 process?I'm confused, please any help is greatly appreciated :)

Hi everyone I had a similar question, except we have a immigration attorney (BIG mistake/waste of money) to do all the forms and whatnot

My main questions are as follows, My fiancee and I just got married last week and I am in the process of adding her to all of my stuff, i.e. beneficiary for my 401K, insurance, et cetera, and she wanted to start finding a job, what do we need to do in order for her to be authorized to work.

what do we need to do for her to get her name changed on her social security card (she previously had J-1 visas and the work and travel program provided her with an SSN card)

Thanks

Follow the VJ guides and file for AOS, AP, and EAD. When the EAD is approved she can start looking for work. In our case, the EAD was received only 5 days before the AOS interview, so it was kinda moot.

My Lawyer just wrote me that I need to file a I-485, as well as a I-130, but I dont see the I-130 on the guide. Do we need to file this?

No. It's only needed for a K1 visa if you've arrived and didn't marry in the 90 days but still married the original petitioner after the 90 days, or you did marry in the 90 days but waited more than 2 years to file AOS.
