Where to send I-129f and what address for letters?

Ok, I am just recently engaged and about to start my journey here as well, so I had a question that has rather confused me when filling out some of the paperwork.

On the old I-129f it said to mail the application to your regional service center, but in the most latest version of the I-129f, the instructions now say to send it to the following address:

Form I-129F Filing Locations for K-1 Fiancé(e) or for K-3 Spouse:

If you live in the United States or if you are living abroad:

File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility.

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS P.O. Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS Attn: I-129F 2501 South State Highway 121 Business Suite 400 Lewisville, TX 75067

So if I wanted to send my application via USPS Express mail, do I use the first or second address?

Secondly, when looking at the Fiance letter of intent to marry, it says in the template to put the service center's address there, so is that where I put the Vermont Service Center address, or do I list the address that I am sending the I-129f to? Maybe this should not be confusing, but since I am sending the application to one place, it just seems I should be addressing everything the same, but I'm hoping some of you out there can clarify some of this for me...

If you are sending Express mail, which you don't really need, I would send it to the second one that says it is for Express mail.

Texas is just an intake hub. Your service center is still Vermont Service Center.

Does that mean that in the cover letter and letters of intent I should have my service center or the Texas lockbox as the recipient address? I did not realize that we had to mail it to Texas, so my fiancee signed and dated a letter of intent with the Vermont service center address as the recipient and sent the original to me through snail mail.

I haven't submitted the I-129F yet, but I would hate to have to stall our submission any further by having her re-sign the letter and send it to me through the mail.

I wouldn't sweat it too much right??

I wouldn't sweat it too much. It's all going to get sent there eventually. I think as long as your envelope is addressed correctly, you'll be okay.

Yea, don't worry too much about it. I think they still send it to the service center that covers the area you live in.

For mine I put the Vermont address etc on the coverletter and other items and once the lockbox was done with it, they forwarded it to Vermont. I live in Maryland so Vermont would be mine if the lockbox wasn't in use.

I know someone recently approved for K1 that didn't submit any letters of intent to USCIS and was approved non the less without them.

Take the long wait your about to experience to read, read, read.

Unfortunately I only discovered this today. We have just sent our petition and I had the address for local USCIS office (Virginia for us) on the cover letter and letters of intent as it suggested on this website ... eek I hope it doesnt affect our petition. Does anyone know? Just have to hope and pray it doesnt...

We didn't send the package yet but we are about to, and we really dont want to do print all again.

Did someone get a RFE for having the wrong address in the cover letter and intent to marry letter?

This thread is years old.

If you are going to put an address on the cover letter and/or letters of intent(neither actually require one), then use the address where you mail the I-129F. The petitions will not be sent to the NVC for a K-1. The NVC will only briefly ever see a K-1 petition, and that is after it is approved, when they will assign a case# and forward it to the appropriate consulate. So no, they were not correct..

you will send it to Texas lockbox. (Or if express the other address mentioned in the link) Doesn't matter where you live. Please check the uscis website for the most current information. There is a direct link....click on ."where to file"
