How should I send the K-1 package? (presentation-wise)

For the initial K-1 package, do I just send all the completed forms and associated documents loose, or can I assemble them in a presentation folder with dividers and such?

I'm not sure how the recipient goes through the package and whether it's better if the items are left loose, or if they are organized and contained, if that would be better.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

They suggest using ACCO Fasteners with the two holes punched at the top of the page (instead three holes on the side), and divider pages where the tabs are at the bottom. They ask that people don't send binders or anything that will take awhile to dissemble.

Hope that helps!

I sent mine off today and I labeled each section using sticky post-it brand divider tabs (that come off easily so they don't ruin the forms) and then I just binder clipped the top and stuck it into a manila envelope and then into the post office's priority shipping envelope and off it went!

No binders, folders, staples or other accoutrements for me!

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I had a table of contents for mine, along with the post-it tabs that previous posters mentioned. But for some reason, I always added that table of contents last minute at the Fed-Ex store itself.
