If your husband is the beneficiary, then yes... definitely. I did this over email too and it was accepted. The operator at the NVC told me that it is ok to do it that way, so I did. It saves a lot of time.

Best wishes :)

Hi..I got a doubt. If we give choice of agent as 'USC Spouse', don't they send the appointment letter of interview to the USC spouse? (i read so in another thread) And the consulate at the beneficiary's country and medical review panel needs the original appointment letter. Isnt this a bit tricky..

My husband the (USC spouse) was our choice of agent but at the NVC stage I submitted my email and I (the beneficiary) received the interview notification. Good luck!

thx for reply.. jst wondering if that depends on consulate. maybe some consulate sends via email and some others, via snail mail?

The consulates provide their interview availability to NVC and then NVC schedules the interview and they email you. Good luck!

Emily

I (Benefuiciary) printed my name in the signature part of the mail. Additionally I attached filled and signed scan of the form DS-3032 which had been previously mailed to me from NVC via e-mail (barcoded). Three days after that we got our IV bill.

we sent an email regular HTML to the NVC.

no signature or ANYTHING.

it must have been approved because we got the IV bill very soon after.

but we never got a confirmation email and the AVR never stated anything.

we sent a hard copy by regular mail too. but i think they accepted the email that had no signatures.
