Vuvuzelas ruining World Cup experience

Unfortunately FIFA missed the bus on this last year during the Confederations Cup in SA. There were complaints by players, coaches and officials about these musical instruments (I use the term loosely).

But it was decided not to ban them. Sepp Blatter plays politics and is not a footballer. He made the opening ceremony all about himself.

Unfortunately the rest of us have to suffer.

To ban to vuvuzelas (which always reminds me of vulva and uvula) now would be unfair to the teams that have already played through with these Africanized bees. If FIFA is to ban them, they should ban them right after the last match of group stage.

But seriously, it's not as annoying as you guys are making it out to be. It's been almost a week. You should be used to them now. The only thing I cringe about is the fact that players can't hear each other. Other than that, it's all good. Keep on buzzing, Africa. It's your time to swarm and buzz.

It's not as annoying as it is made out to be. People are complaining because it's cool to complain about this. Anyone who has ever loved the beautiful game knows, there are a lot of noise involved both crowd and instrumental. If it's such a problem, go watch golf or --laughs hysterically-- go watch baseball. And watch yourself fall asleep.
