I seriously had a harder time understanding the Britons I worked with in the military than the French. They were both speaking English - I guess.

The word she is looking for is "psychotic."

Well in my case... My hubby is still learning how say CONGRATULATIONS bcz he says CONGRUTULATIONS!!!!

I tried a lot for fix it, but he is still pronouncing it like that... grgrgr

but i know that he will learn it very soon, bcz after that... he will learn spanish to can understand his family in law

And i am trying to learn turkish, but the alphabet is so different that I laugh my own self every time when try it...

Proudly, these are two words which she did confuse in the past,

but since working in a major supermarket deli department, doesn't

mix up now (except when customers say one of them too fast).

My English OH tried to tell me about the little "bazzle" plant that he had in his kitchen. I told him I didn't know what kind of plant that was and that maybe we don't have those in America.

He was talking about basil.

Same here, along with several others! We get in arguments all the time on who is correct. I always say that the English may have made up the language, but Americans perfected it!

Translation: "Darling, please use the dust machine."

More precice: "OK vacuum, now!"

my husband struggles with the letters v, l, and r. what makes that hilarious is that his football team is littlepooh.

yes that's right folks he likes liverpool. although typically he replaces v's with w's. wisa, wegetable etc. he can say them correctly IF he slows down. then it becomes: VVVVVVVVVVISA, VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVegetable. it's pretty cute.

as a non native english speaker i struggle with a few words myself but *ahem* according to my husband it's ok because "you can find another words"
