I forgot to add that our interview was very quick about 15 minutes or so. At the end, The IO said that she is going to stamp my passport so I can be free to go where I want and so I can work now. She told me to wait out in the waiting room and she was going to bring my passport in a few minutes. I hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing! We are going to the lawyer's office tomorrow for interview preparation, I'm excited. They will go through our application, give us copies and ask us sample interview questions...is it weird that I'm excited? :D

That's exciting for sure cause you get to practice these questions. That's exciting for sure cause you get to practice these questions. I was really cool during the interview, while my husband was more worried of what the IO said at first :) But whatever you do just be relaxed and remember it's better to say I don't remember than give wrong answer. I don't think my husband gets the seriousness of it all, so I will be the nervous one. But you're not going to Garden City for your interview :) I've heard about this before and was worried because I'm mixed (mother is white and father black) but probably more considered "black" here in the south just because of my skin color and my hubby is white...even though he looks latino. We have less than they did too, but I don't think we need to worry (nor you or I) because these kind of people come 1 in a million....or at least I hope so!
