Congrats, meijie! I am still waiting for mine - my EAD got sent back by the post office, so I am trying to deal with them today to make sure they don't screw up the GC (to be fair, it was all a timing issue on me moving, not their fault the EAD got sent to my old address). However, their system is down right now and I need to call back in 2-3 hours to see if it is back up. Hope I get the nice Veronica again! The woman I talked to last week when I realized we had a timing issue was a dork. mad.gif

I mailed my documents in since May 18th and havent heard squat from USCIS. Should I make a call?

I had my biometrics and all that done since June but no touches, online case update is still in ACCEPTANCE phase... :crying:

Whereis your local office? Maybe there is a longer waiting time in that particular city.

so our appointment was at 1PM in Garden city and we arrived at 12 since it was too early we went to McDonald's right next door to eat something.

we pass by security around 12:20 and drop our letter and wait to be called downstairs around 1:20 we were call to go upstairs and we wait about 15 min to be called ,the IO was an asian lady that i feel so bad to no remember her name :(

we went to her office that was full of little bonsai trees and she swore us ,she start saying my name and to see my passport and she ask me:

ok where did you guys met?

i told her the place and she was asking about (was a restaurant) and my wife was answering the questions with me she ask who attend the weeding ,if i knew her family and who support me to come to US(i came with 20 years old)and than she said that if we were married for 2 years we will get a permanent resident for 10 years and we were like wait a minute we are married for two years we just celebrate last week?!?!?and she apologize maybe she read a 9 instead of 7 on the papers...lol.

well after that we spend almost 30 min just talking to her about everything that you can imagine(world cup,trips,how long island is better than NYC...lol) she was so cool, after that she said that she is gonna stamp my passport if i need to travel and that the green card will arrive in 2 months(i know that it doesn't take that long)

well that was all folks hope everybody have good interviews and wish the best for you all
