Just wondering if anyone knows what is going on at the CSC offices with AOS applications? I had my case transferred a month ago and no word since then. Now I am seeing posts from people transferred after me and they are getting their green cards in hand or emails stating they are in production. I haven't even gotten a touch or anything since they transferred me. Are they just having a slow period or what?

We're in the same boat. It's just the background checks or other. Nothing to do but wait.

We filed end of January and are still waiting after being transferred to CSC as well. We thought maybe being transferred was a good thing since we had heard it would speed things up, but I noticed someone from my city who filed after us and who wasn't transferred had their interview a few days ago.

I know last year when we applied for the K1 in March, the approvals for that slowed down in April and it was said it was due to the opening up of the work visas in April. So, I am wondering if that affects the transferred AOS applications too? However, that still doesn't explain order of the approvals that are coming through.

Im in a similar position. I actually just posted my topic regarding this today. It's been almost two months for me since my case was transferred to the CSC. It's been about 6 months total since I filed (NOV). I have my EAD, AP& SSN, but not even an interview notice for the GC. I was told if it was transferred to the CSC it usually means faster processing and no interwiew. Yet, I'm still waiting. We all are. I think that's about all we can do...and hope for the best. transfer to CSC usually means your case documentation is heavy enough that you will not be interviewed. CSC will just run the required checks and issue your documents. you should have biometrics quickly, EAD within 2 months, and GC within 3-4 months. this has been the standard for about 2 years.

How do you know if your case is tranfered to CSC? Do they email/text or do they mail you something?

Yes. They will mail you an Notice of Action. You can check online as well. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

Just enter your receipt number. If you register, you can opt in for email updates.

I am exactly in the same situation guys. My package was transfered to California begining of January 2010.

I am nervous cause I want to go on vacation to Spain in August but cannot plan anything without the approval

(I think).

Does anybody knows if I could travel if I have an appoval but not the card itself or if I can apply for

the Advance Parole if I do not travel for emergency reasons? By the way is it really around 350$ to apply

for this parole?

Thanks and let hope we'll have all good news soon (and hopefuly no interview requested).

I'm not quite sure I applied for Advance Parole, and EAD with my AOS application. If I were in your position I wouldnt chance travelling with only proof of approval. I would either wait until I got my GC or I would apply for AP. Better safe than sorry. Good Luck!
